My 2 Favorite Chair Designs

I am constantly asked what go-to products I use the most in my interiors. There are some paint colors I do love, and some vendors that I can always count on. But my interiors are specific for each of my clients, personally designed for them. Even though I give every client their own bespoke look, there are two chair designs that work in any interior! Let’s take a look.

Swivel Chairs

Swivel chairs are so incredibly functional, indoors and out! You can swivel one way to have a conversation, and then swivel the other way to watch TV. I like to use curved swivels, too, because it’s a comforting shape that seems to embrace the person sitting in the chair. If you haven’t tried a swivel chair in your rooms, jump on this trend now!

Wingback Chairs

This chair design was first seen in homes in the 1600s, originally to keep the drafts away while holding the warmth from a nearby fireplace. Nothing has really changed! If it works, it works. This chair also has that embracing quality that creates a cozy little nook for reading, quiet conversation, or enjoying a warm fire.

Both of these chairs are comfortable and wrap the sitter in chic style. Which one is your favorite?
