The 4 Best Sink Designs

There are so many fantastic sink designs out there today. You don’t have to just have a stainless steel sink in the kitchen and a drop-in porcelain sink in the bathroom. The options are almost limitless. But there are 4 go-to sinks that I love and that I use a lot in my interiors. Let’s take a look!

1. Bold as Brass

An undermount sink is nothing new, but the material can be just about anything you can dream of. I used a hammered brass sink in this bathroom I designed. It added a glam style that is just fabulous.

2. Prep Perfect

I actually do still love stainless sinks - they are a classic for a reason. And today they have all sorts of bells and whistles that make them even better. I love this Elway sink with a drop-in cutting board. It makes food prep a snap and it keeps your counters clear for other tasks!

3. Bowled Over

Vessel sinks are also nothing new, but you can now find them in all sorts of shapes and colors rather than the traditional white bowl. One of my favorites is a rectangular vessel with rounded corners, as you can see above. There’s something so modern and sleek about the shape.

4. Setting the Bar

A bar sink is a terrific addition to any kitchen! Not only does it give you an extra station for filling glasses and rinsing dishes, but it also offers a separate space for making drinks. I love these sinks in a kitchen island, in a dedicated wet bar, or even a few feet away from the main kitchen sink.

What do you think about these sink designs? Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments section below!
