4 Holiday Must-Haves

The holidays are here and I can’t wait to finally celebrate with family and friends (in small groups, of course)! This is such a magical time of year, even more so since we were not able to celebrate last year the way we all wanted to. So this year, there’s pent-up demand to pull out all the stops for the holiday. Here are 4 things every home should have to make the holidays extra special!

Frontgate

1. Greenery

I love to bring in garlands and greens over the holidays, including pine, magnolia, poinsettias, and more. Using fresh boughs of conifers and holly dates back centuries, and it’s something that brightens your home while also giving everything a fabulous scent. Try to get the freshest you can so they’ll last as long as possible. And give them an occasional spritz of water, too!

West Elm

2. Sparkle and Shine

There’s nothing more magical than those twinkling holiday lights, whether you’re using candles or strings of fairy lights. Wrap your home in light and warmth this season, using gorgeous lights to chase away the winter darkness!

Williams-Sonoma

3. Set the Bar

Be sure you have a well-stocked bar this holiday season, there should be a lot of toasts, love, and laughter! It’s also a smart idea to be ready for drop-in visitors and carolers. I like festive glasses like these from Williams-Sonoma because they say “holiday” in a chic and gorgeous way.

Pottery Barn

4. Easy Gifting

These wine bags are fantastic and festive, perfect for hostess gifts or wine for your boss. I love to give wine at the holidays because it’s a useful gift that everyone appreciates. These bags take the gifting up a notch and make it extra special.

I hope you’re planning a happy and joyous holiday season for your friends and family!

Warmly,

Beth
