House Tour: Kitchens that Cook
One thing I love about spring is all the amazing home and garden tours that spring up in the South. It’s so inspiring to see gorgeous design as I tour homes in my area! So I thought for April I would take you on a little house tour of my own. Each Monday and Thursday this month, we’ll virtually tour some of my favorite rooms.
Today we’re focusing on kitchens are so gorgeous that you can’t wait to dive in and get cooking! And we’ll talk about why each one is so special. Ready to be inspired? Let’s go!
Let there be light! This Christopher Peacock design for a Traditional Home showhouse takes advantage of the gorgeous tall windows in the room. I love the color of the cabinetry and all of the custom storage. This kitchen wins for fashion and function!
Who says you can’t have color in a kitchen? I love the moody blue in this room by Tammy Connor, featured in Luxe. It perfectly complements the marble backsplash and sets the tone for the original art.
This is the most glamorous kitchen I’ve ever seen! Would any of my clients be daring enough to try it? I’m not sure, but I would still include this on any kitchen tour just for its WOW factor! This swoon-worthy gold-leafed kitchen is by Jean Louis Deniot.
There’s nothing more classic than a white kitchen and this is white done right! Designed by Elizabeth Bauer, the kitchen keeps its clean theme with just a pop of green in the gorgeous bar stools.
And then for architecture that is truly inspiring comes this kitchen by Rufty Custom Homes. It has all the space you could possibly want for whipping up culinary creations!
So what do you think of my kitchen tours for spring? Are there kitchens that inspire you? Let me know! And for more kitchens that I love, see my Yes Chef! pinboard here.
