Inspired by: International Flair
When a design is from a far-off land, it carries an allure that often is more intriguing and distinctive than what we see in our everyday surroundings. I find so much inspiration in the color and drama of international architecture. I see designs that I’ve never seen before, and they impact my own creative approaches in exciting, fresh ways.
Like this stunning chapel in Paris, with its captivating Gothic architecture and the color from those 13th century stained glass windows:
Or the shape and intricate details on this one-of-a-kind doorway:
The colors and curves of Tuscany’s Peacock Room are absolutely amazing:
And have you ever seen a more gorgeous symphony of blue and gold?

I hope the rich color combinations and unique shapes inspire you. Take another moment to scan through my Architecture pinboard, which I think house some of the best inspirations for interior design!
