Making Merry

Red, green, silver and gold are lovely, traditional holiday colors. But this year, why not break the mold and try some non-traditional ideas for decorating? You might not immediately associate turquoise and purple, plum and cream, or blue and lemon with the holiday, but look how beautifully they welcome guests to the table:

Leaning more non-traditional with centerpieces also freshens and updates your holiday decor. Think browns and yellows with branches and pinecones. Try succulents with cranberries and burlap. Or pair the traditional silver with teal and a pine sprig for a new take.

‘Tis the season to try something new. You can find more great ideas on my Tis the Season pinboard.
